Athletes wishing to race as an elite duathlete must hold a USAT elite license. Elite annual membership will be available to certain qualified, highly competitive, and experienced athletes who meet the qualifications respective to their license category as outlined at www.usatriathlon.org.  Only athletes holding an elite license are eligible to compete in the elite wave of any USAT sanctioned event that offers a minimum prize purse of $5,000. The term "elite" and "professional" are used interchangeably but USAT prefers that these athletes be referred to as "elites" because in order to align with
ITU and USOC.

Elite athletes, please send in your applications with a copy of your Elite Annual License.

To apply for travel assistance and or complimentary entries please send a one page race resume and photo to PMFL@exclusivesports.com. A word document is preferred, please do not send website links in place of resume. All Travel assistance requests must be in by: November 3rd. Those receiving assistance will be notified by November 10th. If assistance is not accepted by November 16th it will be given to then be awarded to the next eligible alternate athlete.

 

ALL ELITE ATHLETES WILL BE REQUIRED TO ATTEND THE PRO MEETING ON FRIDAY DECEMBER 5TH AT 3:00PM.
